Description
The Quality Specialist at TOYOTETSU TEXAS, INC., is responsible for ensuring that all products meet the company's rigorous quality standards. This role involves monitoring production processes, conducting quality assessments, and implementing improvements to enhance product quality and operational efficiency within the manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure product compliance with industry standards and company specifications.
Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards.
Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, root causes of defects, and opportunities for process enhancements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and supply chain, to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
Prepare detailed reports on quality performance and present findings to management for strategic decision-making.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in quality management to continuously improve quality control processes.
Support new product development by providing quality assurance input and conducting risk assessments.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including ISO and other quality management systems.
Qualifications
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Required Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control within the manufacturing industry. Proven experience with quality management systems and methodologies such as ISO 9001 or similar standards. Experience in conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions in a manufacturing environment.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality assurance techniques. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and metrics. Proficient in the use of quality management software and tools. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
