Manufacturing Engineering /Electronics

A precision manufacturing company in Pinellas County is looking for a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to take full ownership of CNC machining processes. This is a 100% on-site role focused on optimizing shop-floor production, reducing cycle times, and ensuring high-quality output.
About the Role: You will bridge the gap between product engineering and shop-floor execution. You'll spend significant time on the floor collaborating with supervisors and operators to troubleshoot machining issues, program equipment, and implement process improvements.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Create and optimize manufacturing processes, tooling configurations, and methods for precision components.
Write and modify CNC programs for multi-spindle machines, lathes, and mills.
Review new product designs to estimate manufacturing feasibility, labor requirements, and production costs.
Develop standard work documentation, including process flows, control plans, and work instructions.
Utilize data and statistical methods to improve equipment effectiveness and stabilize capabilities.
Drive lean manufacturing and 5S initiatives on the production floor.
Qualifications

• 3+ years of CNC manufacturing engineering experience with an Engineering degree or similar work experience.
• Direct experience programming with MasterCam, AutoCAD, or PartMaker is required.
• Strong background working with precision lathes, mills, multi-axis machines, drilling, and grinding.
• Ability to read complex blueprints, interpret tight tolerances, and understand basic machine control electronics.
• Self-motivated individual who can work independently and collaborate effectively with shop floor teams.
