The Program Manager for Strategic Systems is responsible for the leadership and execution of Voyager’s portfolio of programs across solid rocket motors, chemicals, and explosives, in conjunction with the chief engineer or lead engineer.

Develop and execute comprehensive, coordinated plans for a portfolio of 3-10 projects, including scope, schedule, cost estimates, risk assessments, and resource requirements.

Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams, clients, and government agencies, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project objectives.

Monitor and project budgets/financials, ensuring adherence to financial targets and cost management throughout the project lifecycle.

Manage and communicate scope changes, ensuring alignment with program goals and customer expectations.

Bachelors degree in engineering, science, or management (or equivalent experience)

10 years of experience in project or supply chain management and operations

Experience managing defense or government projects

Experience negotiating contracts with vendors, suppliers, or customers

Experience with project management software to manage schedules and budgets

Travel, Physical, and Government Mandated Requirements

Travel up to 30%, including the possibility of overnights, to customer sites, industry conferences, and program reviews.

Security Clearance at the appropriate level (requires U.Government export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.This range reflects base salary only and does not include benefits or bonus/incentive. The position may be eligible for lump-sum bonus upon hire.
