Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
We’re looking for a friendly, organized, and motivated Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Pekin! This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys helping others, staying organized, and being involved in creating a positive workplace culture.
As an HR Generalist, you’ll help support employees throughout their journey at MMS — from hiring and onboarding to benefits and employee support. You’ll work closely with our leadership team and employees across the company to help keep things running smoothly.
Assisting with hiring and interviewing new team members
Helping new employees through onboarding and orientation
Maintaining employee records and HR systems
Assisting with payroll coordination and HR reports
Helping managers with employee questions and HR guidance
Supporting employee performance review processes
Helping maintain HR policies and procedures
Participating in special projects and team activities
No two days are the same in HR — and that’s what makes it exciting! One morning, you may be welcoming a new employee and helping them get settled in, and later in the day, you could be assisting with benefits questions, updating employee records, or helping coordinate a company event.
You’ll spend your day interacting with employees, managers, and leadership while helping create a workplace where people feel supported and valued. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, teamwork, organization, and building relationships.
Able to handle confidential information professionally
Willing to learn and grow in an HR career
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
Customer-service mindset and willingness to help others
Experience with payroll software
