Registered Nurse - Oncology
Schedule
Nights - 12HR: 7P-7A / 7A-7P rotation. 36 and 48 hours per week available. One weekend shift per week or two weekend shifts every other weekend. Must work at least one holiday per contract.
Assignment Details
Contract Duration: 16 weeks
Requirements

• Active NY RN license
• AHA BLS certification
• 1 year recent experience in acute med-surg/tele and oncology
• 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the oncology unit.
• Monitor and assess patient health status and respond to patient needs.
• Administer medications and therapies as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, and care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments and care provided.

Compliance / Notes

• Must be flexible according to the needs of the facility's schedule.
• Required to float to other units if needed.
