Job Description
This position is for an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse at a facility requiring robust clinical skills and the ability to handle high-acuity situations. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in emergency care protocols and demonstrate strong decision-making abilities.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
Assess, triage, and manage patient conditions in a fast-paced environment.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, preparing necessary reports and documentation.
Effectively utilize EHR and EPIC charting systems for patient records.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 5+ years of current Emergency Department nursing experience preferred.
• New York State RN License in hand.
• Current certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC.
• Telemetry experience and ability to read and interpret rhythms required.
