Job Description As a Security Officer Armed - Overnight in Greenville, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Professional supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location. You will monitor access, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and deliver professional customer service. Position Type: Full Time
Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense billing operations location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned areas, including building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry, while maintaining awareness of restricted areas and sensitive business operations.
Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with site and Allied Universal procedures.
Have at least three years of security-related, law enforcement, military police, or military experience.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
