Attorney - Litigation Defense

Job Description RumbergerKirk is seeking a motivated litigation associate with 3-5 years of civil litigation defense experience to join our Orlando office. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled attorney who enjoys working on meaningful, complex matters, interacting directly with clients, and contributing to a collaborative, high-performing team.

What You'll Do
Handle cases from inception through trial.
Take and defend depositions, attend hearings and mediations, and argue motions.
Interview witnesses and experts and negotiate with opposing counsel.
Conduct legal research and draft motions, memoranda, settlement agreements, and trial-related documents.
Work directly with clients and collaborate with experienced attorneys on litigation strategy and case development.

What We’re Looking For

• 3-5 years of civil litigation experience.
• Experience in complex litigation, general liability, commercial litigation, or business litigation preferred.
• Experience with depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail, sound judgment, and a strong work ethic.
• Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Alabama.
