Design of manufacturing processes.
Collaboration with small teams on in-house development of novel and complex manufacturing equipment.
Specification development for manufacturing equipment.
Close collaboration with external equipment suppliers on equipment design.
Management of external equipment suppliers from equipment development through buyoff.
Validation and characterization of new equipment and fixtures for introduction to the production floor.
Partner with maintenance in root cause analysis of down equipment. Fixturing and tooling design experience in CATIA or Solidworks
Experience in CNC metal machining processes using CNC vertical machining centers and CNC lathes
BS in Engineering
2+ years of experience in manufacturing environment
1+ years in CNC machining, programming and cutting tool selection
Experience with the selection of machining equipment
