Do you want to work as a(an) Registered Nurse Endoscopy where your passion for creating positive patient interactions is valued? If you are dedicated to caring for the well-being of others, this could be your next opportunity. As an Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN), you will be responsible for implementing the nursing process, documenting nursing activities and interventions, and administering medication. You will provide leadership and supervise the care, maintenance, and activities of the Endoscopy suites.

You will complete an age appropriate assessment of the patient upon arrival to the surgical suite

You will initiate the plan of care by proper preparation of the patient for surgery

You will provide teaching and emotional support for surgical patients

You will assist with the preparation and care of the patient during anesthesia

You will set up equipment needed for procedures, and clean and sterilize all equipment post-procedure

1 year of Endoscopy RN experience – required

Associate’s degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Business, or Healthcare Administration – preferred

Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License. David’s Healthcare policy

Certification in Gastroenterology through the American Board of Certification for Gastroenterology Nurses – preferred
