Head of Project Management (Construction)

Manages project budgets, schedules, and resources.

Directs professional and technical staff to complete complex environmental projects.

Coordinates and manages subcontractors/field personnel.

Interprets and records data, conducts analyses, compares findings to relevant studies and local, state and federal regulations to ensure compliance

Manages project invoicing and cash flow management

Applies a working knowledge of data collection, management, and evaluation and clearly articulates technical recommendations to clients and regulatory agencies.

Develops comprehensive conceptual site models.

Applies a working knowledge of CERCLA and RCRA to projects

Bachelor's degree in engineering, geology, earth sciences, or a related field

Client management experience

8+ years of experience in environmental consulting

5+ years of experience on federal projects

5+ years of experience in Military Munitions Response project or task management

40-hour OSHA Hazwoper Training and current 8-hour refresher.

Other OSHA training (30 hour construction) is valued.

Experience interacting with Federal agency Program Project Officers, Contracting Officers, Remedial Project Managers, and technical staff

Professional licensure (PE, PG, PMP, CHMM)

If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtain access to military installations.

This position requires the ability to maneuver around work sites, see, hear, and verbally communicate with co‑workers and clients. frequent opportunity to move outside the office environment for extended periods involving exposure to the elements with weather that will include extreme heat, cold, wind, rain or other inclement weather, walking over rough and uneven surfaces, and routine lifting of up to 35 pounds. If required, must properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times including but not limited to: hard hats, steel toed boots, eye protection, respiratory protection, and hearing protection. The office setting includes exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse.
