Reporting to the Recruiting Team Lead, the Recruiter is responsible for sourcing candidates online, updating job ads, conducting initial phone screens, initiating background screenings, and assisting with the collection of onboarding information for positions serving all areas of the organization. This position plays a critical role in ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent and following all company/federal/state guidelines and procedures. Additionally, the Recruiter is responsible for the accurate completion of employee onboarding documents, recruitment procedure development, recruitment policy instruction and enforcement, candidate tracking and other assigned administrative duties.

Source potential candidate from various online channels (e.g. social media, and ATS platforms).

Craft recruiting emails to attract passive candidates.

Screen incoming resumes and application forms.

Interview candidates (via phone and teams' video).

Provide shortlists of qualified candidates to hiring managers.

Collaborate with managers to identify future hiring needs.

Act as consultant to new hires and help them onboard.

Additional recruiting duties as assigned.

Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases.

Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Ability to get along with diverse personalities, tactful, mature, flexible.

Degree either in Human Resources or related field required.

3-5 years of recruitment experience with understanding of Federal Government Services Sector.

Experience with HRIS ATS systems, preferably Paychex and My Staffing Pro.

Work is performed in an office or home office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
