We're looking for a hands-on HR Manager to build and lead people operations as we scale.POSITION SUMMARYThe HR Manager will own the full employee lifecycle - recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, and compliance - for a team of approximately 50 employees. This is a highly cross-functional role, partnering closely with leadership, finance, and department managers to build scalable HR processes and foster a strong company culture.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESManage full-cycle recruiting: job postings, screening, interviewing, offers, and onboarding for new hiresAdminister employee benefits programs (health insurance, retirement plans, PTO) and serve as the primary point of contact for employee questionsOwn HR compliance - ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEOC, etc.)Develop and maintain employee handbook, policies, and proceduresLead performance management processes, including reviews, goal setting, and improvement plansManage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, investigations, and disciplinary actionsPartner with department leaders on workforce planning, org structure, and compensation decisionsMaintain HRIS data integrity and generate reports on headcount, turnover, and other people metricsPlan and execute employee engagement initiatives and culture-building programsOversee payroll coordination in partnership with FinanceREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelor 's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)5+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in an HR management or generalist leadership roleStrong working knowledge of employment law and HR compliance requirementsExperience with HRIS and benefits administration platformsExcellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skillsDemonstrated ability to handle confidential information with sound judgment and discretionExperience supporting both corporate and field/contractor-based teamsExperience with Gusto is a plusWHAT WE OFFERCOMPETITIVE COMPENSATIONCompetitive salary and performance-based bonusCOMPREHENSIVE HEALTHHealth, dental, and vision insuranceRETIREMENT SUPPORT401(k) with company matchFLEXIBLE TIME OFFFlexible PTOFASTer Way is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
