Key Responsibilities and Duties Set up and operate 5 axis CNC machines, including DMU70 and DMU90 equipment.
Operate CNC machines using Siemens 840D controls.
Perform complex machining work on precision aerospace components.
Complete machine setups, tool changes, offsets, and adjustments to maintain part quality.
Inspect machined parts using precision measuring tools to confirm tolerances and customer specifications.
Troubleshoot machining issues related to setup, tooling, programs, feeds, speeds, and machine performance.
Partner with programming, quality, and production teams to improve cycle times, accuracy, and repeatability.
Follow all quality, safety, aerospace manufacturing, and production procedures.
Qualifications Needed Experience setting up and operating complex CNC milling or 5-axis machining equipment.
Aerospace manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
