Optician - No Experience Required

As an Optician, you'll work directly with patients to help them select eyewear that fits their vision needs, lifestyle, and personal style. This is a highly patient-focused role, so we’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with people, building relationships, and creating a great experience for every patient.

You’ll also be cross‑trained as a Check‑Out Coordinator, assisting doctors with post‑exam care, helping patients understand their insurance benefits, and collecting payment for services.

No optical experience? 21.00–$23.00 per hour for candidates we will train, based on experience and qualifications, with commission and bonus opportunities available .

Help patients select eyeglass frames and lenses based on their prescription, comfort, lifestyle, and personal preferences

Learn to accurately measure and fit eyewear using optical tools and equipment

Place, verify, and receive eyewear orders and help ensure finished glasses meet quality standards

Help patients understand their insurance benefits and collect payment for services

Provide friendly, attentive service and help answer patient questions

High school diploma or equivalent

Interest in optics, eyewear, healthcare, and helping patients

Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
