Mechanical Technician
The Mechanical Technician will be responsible for building and assembling generator components and subsystems while adhering to established procedures. This role includes inspecting test units, documenting findings for engineering teams, and supporting continuous improvements focused on safety, quality, and efficiency. The position requires the use of precision measuring equipment and close collaboration with engineering and production teams within a hands-on manufacturing environment.

Mechanical assembly expertise.
Minimum of 5 years industry experience, ideally 10+ years in automotive assembly and troubleshooting.
Ability to read and follow assembly procedures to build complex assemblies.
Inspection, testing, and documentation skills.
Experience with hand tools, power tools, and mechanical assemblies.
Ability to work from engineering drawings, schematics, or assembly instructions.
Experience with quality inspections and documentation.
Experience in manufacturing, automotive, heavy equipment, energy, aerospace, or industrial environments.
Experience contributing to process or safety improvements.
Metal fabrication skills.

This is a Contract position based out of Menlo Park, CA.
