Litigation Paralegal - Remote/Hourly

One is pleased to be partnering with an East Coast based litigation boutique law firm in their search for an Appellate Litigation Paralegal. We are looking for a skilled litigation paralegal with at least 5 years of complex civil litigation experience to assist a busy trial and appellate team. The successful candidate will be able to perform cite citing and blue booking of pleadings and motions, provide assistance during all phases of the litigation process including performing legal research, document filing, managing eDiscovery database and workflows and preparing for hearings, mediation and trial. Conduct legal research
Draft pleadings and motions and file them with the court via e-filing
Manage eDiscovery process, including Relativity/review databases
Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs and appendices
Proven working experience as a litigation paralegal
Applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules and procedures and practices
Strong writing and communication skills along with attention to detail
Extensive computer and database expertise, including utilizing Lexis, e-filing, PACER
Prior experience utilizing eDiscovery databases, including Relativity

Work is generally performed sitting, talking, hearing, and typing
This is a high-volume screen-based role, requiring constant, prolonged computer usage, including but not limited to: reviewing documents, managing visual content, and attending virtual meetings
Visual acuity required for computer use, data analysis, and extended reading
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing and document handling
