Job Description

The Operations Manager (OM) supports the Restaurant Leader to maintain operational excellence and uphold Raising Cane’s standards and culture across all restaurant operations.

Responsibilities

Execute restaurant operations functions.

Serve as manager on duty, opening and closing the restaurant.

Manage cash handling and ensure accountability.

Enforce Raising Cane’s policies and standards.

Lead shift‑management meetings and maintain operation and safety standards.

Use required tools, forms and logs to support shift execution, document results and take corrective action when needed.

Deploy crew members during a shift.

Provide exemplary customer service.

Utilize reward and recognition program for crew members.

Authorize employee functions requiring manager approval (e.g., discounts, promotions, time‑clock overrides).

Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant and ensure the facility is in good working order.

Complete other duties as assigned.

Lift and carry up to 50lbs.; bend, kneel, twist, and reach overhead or below the waist.

Navigate stairs, move quickly, and stay on your feed throughout the shift.

Take orders accurately, process payments efficiently, and communicate clearly.

Work safely around hot cooking equipment, cleaning supplies, and common ingredients like oil and flour.

Maintain a clean, safe restaurant while following all food safety and company procedures.

Occasionally drive on behalf of the company for work‑related purposes when required.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

18years old or older.

High school diploma or equivalent.

3+ years of restaurant or retail management experience.

Valid state‑issued driver’s license.

Completion of all Raising Cane’s company training programs.

Able to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and travel as needed for work‑related functions and training.

Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities that may constantly shift.

Self‑driven, flexible, energetic with strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills.

Able to recognize and analyze problems, set goals, create and convert plans into action to solve problems.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and able to learn and adapt to new systems quickly.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in new restaurant opening.
