Job Overview A law firm seeks a mid-level Insurance Coverage Litigation Attorney in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience in insurance coverage litigation and must be licensed to practice in Massachusetts. Remote or hybrid work options may be available following initial training and integration with the team.
Duties Assess new files to establish action plans, budgets, and recommendations.
Identify pleading requirements and delegate tasks to paralegals as needed.
Prepare discovery responses and manage document production.
Attend depositions, hearings, and other discovery events, providing thorough reports.
Negotiate settlements, secure authority, and prepare for trial as necessary.
Maintain regular communication with paralegals and legal assistants.
Requirements 5+ years of practice experience in insurance coverage litigation.
Licensed to practice law in Massachusetts.
Exceptional interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
Education Juris Doctorate or equivalent.
Certifications Bar admission in Massachusetts.
