The HR Specialist provides specialized analysis, consultative service and advice for own area of expertise, and develops, designs and, delivers HR solutions to enable businesses to achieve their goals and objectives.

Highly seasoned professional role requiring substantial knowledge/expertise in a complex field and knowledge of broader related areas

Integrates knowledge of the enterprise sub-function’s or business line’s overarching strategy in developing solutions across multiple functions or operations

Solves complex problems requiring analysis of multiple variables, including consultation with multiple stakeholders

Undergraduate degree

Advanced MS Office knowledge, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Strong analytical and research abilities including data analysis methods and reporting techniques

Strong understanding of risk management environment, standards and regulations

Knowledge of project/program management, planning and implementation

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

5+ years of relevant experience within a Talent Acquisition and/or HR function.

Demonstrated Workday experience supporting Talent Acquisition products, processes, releases or implementations.

Demonstrated experience leading and executing business/UAT testing within Workday testing environments, including developing test strategies, use cases and detailed test cases, coordinating business testers and SMEs, managing defects through resolution, and supporting business readiness and sign-off.

Customer Accountabilities

Provides specialized HR related advice/support to management/leadership and respective teams for area(s) of specialization with industry, external and internal, enterprise and business awareness; Provides subject matter expertise and/or input to projects/initiatives as a representative for area of specialization, and where necessary participates in identifying, designing and testing HR solutions and supporting implementation activities

Maintains awareness of changing legal/regulatory requirements and practices within the industry and consults with policy/process owners within HR to ensure compliance

Manages the integrated implementation of HR policies/processes/procedures/changes across multiple functional areas

Conducts regular, ongoing analysis, evaluation/assessment and review of HR policies and processes

Leads the development, implementation and understanding of training material, reports, presentations and procedures for new policies and/or processes

Participates in cross-functional/enterprise initiatives as a subject matter expert helping to identify risk/provide guidance for complex situations

Conducts internal and external research projects; supports the development/delivery of presentations/ communications to management or broader audience

Monitors service, productivity and assesses efficiency levels within own function and implements continuous process/performance improvements where opportunities exists

Independently conducts meaningful data analysis using results to draw conclusions, make recommendations and assess the effectiveness of programs/practices

Keeps abreast of emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements and assesses potential impacts

Protects the interests of the organization - identifies and manages risks, and escalates non-standard, high risk transactions/activities as necessary

Maintains a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes in alignment with risk appetite

Participates fully as a member of the team, supports a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation and teamwork and ensures timely communication of issues/points of interest

Provides thought leadership and/or industry knowledge for own area of expertise and participates in knowledge transfer within the team and business unit

Participates in personal performance management and development activities, including cross training within own team

Keeps others informed and up to date about the status/progress of projects and/or all relevant or useful information related to day-to-day activities

Contributes to the success of the team by willingly assisting others in the completion and performance of work activities; provides training, coaching and/or guidance as appropriate

Acts as a brand ambassador for the business area/function and the bank, both internally and/or externally
