The posted compensation range of $39.63 - $53.29 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

As our Ambulatory Care Unit (ACU) Nurse at CHI St. Joseph's Health, you will be the cornerstone of patient experience for those undergoing outpatient treatments or procedures. You will guide patients through their care journey, ensuring they feel informed, comfortable, and receive excellent nursing care when they need it most.

You'll be adept at managing multiple patient needs while maintaining clear communication with families and the care team.

To be successful in this role, you must possess exceptional assessment skills, demonstrate warmth and empathy, thrive in a dynamic environment, and be able to prioritize care effectively to ensure swift and safe patient transitions.

Active Patient Monitoring & Treatment: Administer medications, fluids, and blood products, provide watchful monitoring during outpatient procedures/infusions, and assist providers as needed.

Coordinated Discharge Planning: Serve as a primary resource for patients and families, providing clear, compassionate education regarding their care, recovery, and follow-up.

Unit & Equipment Readiness: Ensure the ACU environment and equipment are continuously ready for patient care, maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.

Collaborative Team Player: Work seamlessly with physicians, other nurses, and healthcare staff to deliver integrated, high-quality outpatient care.

Graduate of accredited professional nursing education program

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Minnesota
