Registered Nurse – Critical Care
Night shift options available: 3 x 12-hour shifts or 4 x 12-hour shifts; rotating shifts from 1900 to 0730. No blocked schedules.
Call is rare.
Requirements

Current RN license in state of practice: Required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC): Required within 1 year of hire or transfer into the department (current employees have 2 years to complete).
National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification: Required
High School Education/GED or equivalent: Required
Associate Degree (A.A. or A.S.): Required
Passing completion of a Critical Care Nursing course: Required
Six months previous critical care experience: Preferred
Epic experience: Required
Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in critical care settings.
Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed.
Assist in developing and implementing patient care plans.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record.
Educate patients and families about health conditions and post-discharge care.
