Job Description Human Resources Generalist

A growing addiction treatment provider is seeking a full-time Human Resources Generalist to serve as the primary HR contact for employees and contractors across multiple levels of the organization. This role is responsible for supporting all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, credentialing, and HR operations.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, professional, and enjoys building positive relationships with employees. Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, in-person

Recruitment & Onboarding
Partner with department leaders to identify hiring needs and workforce planning priorities.
Post open positions, review applications, and coordinate candidate screenings.
Track completion of required onboarding and annual training requirements.
Employee Relations
Serve as a resource for HR-related questions and concerns.
Assist with conflict resolution and employee relations matters.
Support employee engagement, retention, and workplace culture initiatives.
Analyze employee feedback and recommend process improvements.
Assist managers with job descriptions, performance evaluations, competency assessments, corrective action processes, and employee development initiatives.

Compliance & Human Resources Administration
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
Maintain HR systems, forms, and documentation.
Assist with employee recognition and engagement activities and events.

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of one year of Human Resources experience.
Demonstrates good discretion when handling unexpected issues, confidential information, employee concerns, and sensitive workplace matters.
Experience with HRIS platforms, applicant tracking systems, and employee engagement tools.
Knowledge of credentialing, employment law, and regulatory compliance processes.
Experience supporting credentialed professionals and maintaining regulatory compliance in a healthcare environment.
