Senior Mechanical Engineering- System Design

A growing clean energy technology company is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and development of complex mechanical systems from concept through production. This is a highly visible technical leadership role focused on system ownership, engineering analysis, and product development.
Responsibilities
Lead mechanical system design and integration
Drive products from concept, prototyping, and validation through production
Perform and review engineering calculations and analyses
Mentor junior engineers and support technical decision‑making
Lead design reviews, testing, and root cause investigations
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
10+ years of mechanical design and product development experience.
Demonstrated experience owning complex mechanical systems and products.
Strong background performing engineering calculations and analyses independently.
Experience leading products through concept, prototype, testing, validation, and production release.
Candidates should have hands‑on experience with several of the following
Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
Structural Analysis
Stress & Deflection Calculations
Thermal Analysis / Thermal Management
Fatigue Analysis
Tolerance Stack‑Up Analysis
Failure Analysis
GD&T
Pressure System Design
Fluid, Hydraulic, Pneumatic, or Compressed Gas Systems
