Managing & Associate Attorney

Preeminent Orange County Defense firm looking to hire elite litigator/trial attorney or an associate hungry to learn the craft. Most of our work is concentrated in complex catastrophic personal injury defense for sophisticated companies with large SIR/deductibles. For this position, we seek a capable attorney who generates superior quality work product, functions well when given autonomy to strategize and manage their case load, and is a genuine team player who will mesh well with our very cohesive group of attorneys and staff.

Qualifications:

1-7+ years of experience in civil litigation, ideally autonomously handling all aspects of a case, including devising strategy, performing discovery, and managing client communications

Strong negotiation and advocacy abilities

Detail oriented and committed to "thinking outside the box" and diving into complex problems to uncover what others have missed

Strong legal research and writing skills

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $150,000-$250,000 annually, plus discretionary bonus for those who excel. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

We are willing to pay elevated, above-market rates for the right candidate.
