Remote Call Center Customer Advocate

Providing exceptional service to patients and providers, the fully remote Patient Engagement Advocate will manage inbound and outbound calls, schedule appointments, and document patient requests while ensuring key performance indicators are met.

Key responsibilities

Respond promptly to incoming phone calls and schedule patient appointments in the EMR system

Document patient requests and pertinent information clearly to ensure effective communication

Coordinate with team members to maintain an efficient workflow and adhere to safety policies

Required qualifications

High School diploma or GED

At least 1 year of related experience in a call center, customer service, or medical office

Previous experience in a medical office, particularly in optometry or ophthalmology, is preferred

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and state/federal regulations relevant to the position
