Overview The Department of Anesthesiology at Banner University Medical Group Tucson is growing and actively interviewing physician anesthesiologists to provide exceptional patient care in a community-based model. Outpatient surgical locations with 100% personal performance anesthesia and no overnight call.
Responsibilities 100% solo (personal performance) cases only.
No overnight call; no holiday work.
Outpatient surgical cases across Orthopedics, GI, Ophthalmology, ENT, GYN, Plastics, Urology, and General Surgery.
Support cases in a modern, technologically advanced outpatient settings at Tucson campus, South Tucson campus, and ASC locations.
Provide bread-and-butter anesthesiology case work with no subspecialty focus.
Qualifications BC/BE by ABA
Compensation and Benefits 17 shifts per month for full-time equivalent (FTE); part-time options welcomed with prorated shift requirements and compensation.
Sign-on bonus: $50K.
Anticipated total annual compensation: $545k (guaranteed base salary plus productivity units, shift differentials, and incentive bonus).
Loan Repayment assistance: $100K available; includes potential Public Service Loan Forgiveness options.
Additional shift pay for extra earnings; comprehensive Banner Benefits package including medical, dental, vision, malpractice, and voluntary options (pet, auto, home), adoption and fertility benefits, parental leave support, child/elder care resources, 24/7 mental health support, physician well-being program, and financial wellness resources.
