A bit about us: We are seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented and experienced Cost Accountant to join our dynamic engineering team. This position is integral to our financial planning and decision-making processes. As a Cost Accountant, you will have the opportunity to significantly contribute to our company's financial strategy and direction. As a Cost Accountant, your key responsibilities will include:
Creating and reviewing the controls needed for data accumulation and reporting systems.
Conducting physical counts of inventory and reconciling floor counts and inventory records.
Assisting in Month end close of the General Ledger.
Conducting audits of costs and preparing reports.
Implementing a comprehensive cycle counting program to ensure inventory accuracy.
Maintaining Cost Accounting System.
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in Cost Accounting in a manufacturing environment.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred.
Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, practices and procedures.
Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
