Job Summary

The Associate Attorney provides essential support to the firm’s legal team by advising on tax-related matters, conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and assisting with client representation in tax disputes and compliance matters. This role is ideal for a licensed attorney with at least one year of tax experience or a strong tax background, who possesses strong analytical and organizational skills. The Associate Attorney plays a key role in delivering high-quality legal services, ensuring efficient case management, and contributing to successful client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Advise clients on tax-related legal matters

Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, opinions, and other legal documents

Represent clients in tax disputes, audits, or proceedings as needed

Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective legal solutions

Requirements

Juris Doctor (JD)

Active license to practice law (required)

Minimum of 1 year of tax experience or strong tax background

Physical Requirements

Must be able to sit for extended periods with good posture to avoid discomfort or strain.

Must be able to operate standard office equipment such as computers, printers, scanners, and copiers with ease.

Should have good eyesight or corrective lenses to read and analyze text effectively.

Must pay close attention to detail when drafting legal documents, conducting research, and reviewing case materials.

Clear and effective communication skills, including speaking and listening, are essential.
