Counselor, Hourly Part Time

$15 per hour

Central Florida Dreamplex

Central Florida Dreamplex is dedicated to serving children and teens with special needs ages 5–18. Under the direct supervision of the Dreamplex Therapeutic School Director and AfterSchool Care Lead Counselor, the DreamCare Counselor supports the after-school program by ensuring a safe, clean, and positive environment. Counselors are role models who help foster strong relationships with children and families while reflecting the values of the Dreamplex.

Supervise children at all times to maintain a safe environment

Supervise and participate in outdoor play and activities

Assist students during arrival and dismissal, including transitions from school buses to classrooms

Provide assistance with diapering/toileting if needed

Model positive behavior and support children’s social and emotional growth

Build cooperative relationships with children, families, and staff

Must have a genuine love for working with children

Must be at least 16 years old

CPR/First Aid Certification (preferred, but not required)

Part-time, in-person

Available a minimum of 3 shifts per week

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 2:30 pm - 6:00 pm

15.00 per hour
