Human Resources Generalist
Compass Intervention Center has been providing psychiatric services to the Memphis area for more than -years. This convenient location provides access to larger communities in Tennessee, Mississippi, and Arkansas. We work with children and families throughout the United States, including military families overseas.
Compass Intervention Center is a free‑standing residential treatment center open to male and female children and adolescents from ages to . , , and are available to male and female adolescents ages to .
Compass offers a full continuum of care for psychiatric treatment of adolescents and is the only facility in the State of Tennessee that offers every level of care to adolescents.
Created to serve adolescents between the ages of and years old, the Acute Adolescent Program offers treatment for psychiatric and emotional problems.

The HR Generalist:
The HR Generalist assists in multiple areas of HR including recruitment, employee relations, retention strategies, and performance management. This role also assists with departmental compliance with facility, legal, and regulatory requirements. Leads the recruitment process for the facility, posts job requisitions, screens candidates, makes offers of employment, and follows the process to hire, schedules, notifies, and prepares proper paperwork for the New Employee Orientation Program. Performs full cycle recruitment for assigned positions.
Helps coordinate and prepare for New Hire Orientation, staff onboarding requirements, and maintenance of staff education requirements.
Performs HR file audits to ensure regulatory compliance.

A minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of experience in human resources, preferably in a health care setting.
A working knowledge of behavioral health management practices and clinical operations.
An advanced knowledge of state and federal regulatory and various accreditation requirements related to behavioral health management.
