Start hourly rate $31.00 per hour*****POSITION DESCRIPTION:** DrinkPAK is seeking a highly motivated Facilities Technician who, under general supervision, will provide general facilities maintenance and external upkeep of buildings and surrounding areas of DrinkPAK-leased properties.We are looking for a dependable and skilled Facilities Technician to support the maintenance and functionality of our diverse manufacturing campus, which includes office areas, industrial production lines, and warehouse facilities. This role plays a vital part in ensuring all facilities operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will be experienced in facility systems maintenance across multiple building types and adaptable to a fast-paced manufacturing environment.**100% PPO medical, dental, and vision insurance for our employees, 50% for their dependents, paid by the Company* A cell phone stipend* 401(k) match program, pet insurance, life insurance, and more.**LOCATION:** The position is located at DrinkPAK's facility in Fort Worth, Texas.**TYPE:**Full-time, Hourly.**RESPONSIBILITIES*** Monitors and performs facilities work order requests.* Use Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for all work orders.* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards for all maintenance activities.* Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and lighting systems.* Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, compressed air, and dock door issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime.* Conduct general maintenance tasks, such as carpentry, painting, welding, electrical conduit, plumbing and drywall repair.* Perform tasks associated with air filters, valves, ballasts, lighting and electrical components required at scheduled maintenance and/or repair.* Repair and maintain all doors, fixtures, hardware, ceiling tile, and related items.* Perform tasks, project and assignments as assigned by the work order application system and update real time.* Coordinate with production teams to perform maintenance with minimal disruption to operations.* Responds to all trouble calls and emergency calls regarding heating, air conditioning, light replacement, minor repairs, electrical, plumbing, and related items.* Cleans and maintains all facilities related spaces and storerooms.* Responsible for all operating logs and records on all machinery and equipment to accurately reflect maintenance, repairs and history.* Maintains accurate check lists for daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly annual tests and inspections of equipment.* Maintains the security and proper operation of all keys, tools and portable equipment.* Generates supply requests to maintain an adequate stock of supplies and repair parts; as approved by the Facilities Manager.* Installs workstations, desks office and adjusts as needed.* Apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.* Respond positively to direction and critique of performance.* Perform other duties/projects as assigned.* UTILITIES*** Monitor and track facility utility consumption, including electricity, waste water, natural gas, RO water, and compressed air, Ammonia, to identify usage trends and opportunities for cost reduction.* Conduct routine inspections of utility systems and infrastructure, including meters, distribution panels, water lines, and gas lines, to ensure proper operation and regulatory compliance.* Respond to utility-related issues such as outages, leaks, pressure irregularities, or equipment malfunctions and coordinate timely repairs to minimize operational disruption.* Maintain accurate utility logs and records, documenting consumption data, service interruptions, and maintenance history for reporting and auditing purposes.* Support energy efficiency initiatives by identifying and recommending improvements to reduce waste and lower utility costs across the facility.* Coordinate with utility providers and third-party vendors for service calls, inspections, meter readings, and infrastructure upgrades as needed.* Ensure all utility systems operate in compliance with applicable codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.* Assist in the management of utility-related preventative maintenance schedules, including water treatment systems, backflow preventers, and pressure relief valves.*QUALIFICATIONS*** High school diploma or Graduate Equivalentcy Diploma required* Two or more years building maintenance experience required.* Knowledge of building codes and safety standards.* Must have demonstrated experience with air conditioning, electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry and lighting systems.* Demonstrated ability to work with and interpret meters, schematics, owners manuals, program some building management sytems and assess fire panels required.* Proficiently and safely operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.* Ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of mechanical and electrical systems.* Ability to work with Microsoft office products required.* The ability to work independently with minimal supervision* Able to effectively manage time.**ABOUT DRINKPAK**DrinkPAK is the premiere manufacturer of canned beverages in North America.
