Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a Registered Nurse (MED/SURG) to fill an opening at a hospital located in New Orleans, LA. This role is ideal for a dedicated RN who thrives in a fast-paced environment, providing comprehensive care to adult and adolescent patients with a variety of medical conditions and post-surgical needs.
Competitive Compensation: $41.48 per hour
~ Per-diem (flexible shift options available)

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for a diverse patient population with medical diagnoses (e.g., pneumonia, CHF, COPD, diabetes) and post-surgical conditions (e.g., appendectomy, cholecystectomy, orthopedic repairs, abdominal surgeries).
Administer medications, fluids, and blood products as ordered, monitoring for adverse reactions.
Collaborate with physicians, case managers, physical therapists, and other healthcare team members to coordinate discharge planning and continuity of care.
Respond to changes in patient condition, initiate appropriate interventions, and communicate concerns to the medical team.
Maintain accurate, timely documentation of all nursing care and patient responses in the EMR.
Ensure a safe, clean, and organized patient environment, including fall prevention protocols and infection control measures.
