Senior AuditorThe Senior Auditor is responsible for managing and executing internal audits in accordance with the annual risk assessment, audit plan, and management requests to ensure regulatory compliance and value-added strategic reviews of Rio Las Vegas. This role requires internal audit and regulatory compliance experience, strategic thinking, organizational skills, and project management capabilities.Managing the identification and evaluation of the organization's risk areas.Managing and executing financial, operational, and compliance/regulatory audits in accordance with professional standards: Sarbanes-Oxley, GCB MICS, PCI, established property standards and best practicesDocumenting and performing walkthroughs of key processes, risks and controls.Conduct audits in accordance with the Annual Audit Plan, ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry standards, including those established by the Nevada Gaming Control Board.Developing audit checklists, programs and/or guidelines.Conducting audits and remediation and roll forward testing.Concluding and reporting on audit findings.checklists, programs and/or guidelines), which reflect audit objectives, audit scope, audit procedures, work performed, findings, the conclusions reached, and the resolution of all exceptions, inclusive of:Determining compliance with internal controls through observations, through examination of documents and records, and/or through inquiries with employees.Identifying and communicating non-compliance with internal controls or accounting and reporting systems.Writing clear and concise audit reports.Minimum three to six years of progressive work experience in public, operational, and/or compliance/regulatory auditing.Must have a working knowledge of financial and compliance/regulatory auditing.Must have working computer knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.Must be responsible, flexible and highly motivated individual.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as financial reports and legal documents.Ability to write effective audit reports and memos.Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.PreferredProfessional certification CPA or CIA preferred or must be pursuing qualification to obtain either certification.
