RN - PCU - Weekend - Nights
Ohio State University Hospital East
Registered Nurse – Progressive Care
Schedule: Nights — 3x12s (7:00 PM–7:30 AM), 36 hours/week Weekdays and some weekends; every other weekend
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years RN experience required
Cardiac/IV insulin drip (GTT) experience preferred
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Epic charting experience required
Roles & Responsibilities:
Provide professional nursing care for adult patients with cardiac-related diagnoses.
Monitor telemetry and progressive care patients, recognizing and managing dysrhythmias.
Administer intravenous medications and therapies, including insulin drips.
Participate in rapid response and code teams as needed.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record.
Compliance / Notes:
Orientation: 24 hours
Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
COVID-19 vaccination is not required
Submission compliance includes a strict credentialing deadline and a valid compact or state RN license at the time of submission.
