Exciting Opportunity for an ER Registered Nurse!
Job Description:

- Position: Registered Nurse ER (Adult)
- Shift Details:

• Day 4x12-Hour
• 07:00 - 19:00
• 11:00 - 23:00
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Charting System: EPIC experience required
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: Must be available to work every other holiday, if needed
• First-Time Travelers: Yes, we welcome you!
• Locals Accepted: No local nurses within a 75-mile radius
• License: Active New York Single State RN license is required

- Certifications:

- BLS

- ACLS

- NIHSS (include valid NIHSS in your submittal)
Clinical Skills Required:

• IV therapy: blood product administration, central line care, phlebotomy, starting/maintaining IVs
• Ventilator management
• CVA (stroke) and neuro-trauma care
• Cardiac monitoring: interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Emergency care: adult/pediatric ED, gunshot wounds, ortho trauma
• Isolation precautions and triage experience

Unit Details:

• Patient Ratios: 1 RN to 5 patients
• Special Equipment: Bair hugger, rapid infuser, safe patient handling equipment
• Floating: Required within skillset
• Scrub Color: Any combination of navy blue and white

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous charge experience preferred
• 2 years of experience required
• Experience with EPIC charting
• Must float as needed

• Guaranteed hours included
• RTO requests submitted upon application
• Modules available for training up to 5 billable hours
