Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a Rehab position requiring at least 1 year of recent acute care experience in Rehab or Med/Surg and an active CO or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the inpatient Rehab unit of a 42-bed facility
• Day shift staffing typically includes a charge nurse, 3-5 RNs, and 2-4 PCTs
• Night shift staffing typically includes a charge nurse, 3-5 RNs, and 2 PCTs
• Patient ratio of 6:1
• Uses Meditech EMR
• Overnight shift scheduled from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Floating required between the two Spalding campuses
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

Active RN license (CO or compact) currently in hand

Current BLS certification required

Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience as a Rehab or Med/Surg RN required

Prior experience with rehab patient population preferred

IV and blood draw skills preferred

No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration

One professional reference required

Additional Information

Provide direct nursing care to rehab patients including wound care and patient transfers
