CNC Machinist (Contract Position)
Nesco Resource is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for a 2nd Shift contract opportunity. The ideal candidate will have strong machining experience, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Monday Friday
Overtime available as needed

Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision components according to specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
Perform machine adjustments and tool changes as needed.
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other quality tools.
Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot minor machining issues.
Maintain production and quality records accurately.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and manufacturing standards.
Work closely with production and quality teams to meet customer requirements and production goals.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of CNC machining experience preferred.
Experience with CNC mills, lathes, or multi-axis machining centers.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Proficiency using precision measuring equipment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic computer skills preferred.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Frequent bending, reaching, and movement throughout the shift.
Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
