About the job Labor & Employment Attorney
Note: This position requires employees to be on-site five days a week at one of our clients offices in Syracuse, Rochester, or Binghamton, NY.
Note: You must be licensed to practice law in New York and have at least 3 years of experience in labor and employment law. Our client is a respected law firm with over 30 years of experience dedicated to representing public school districts, BOCES, and a wide range of employers. Provide legal advice on employment law, labor relations, and workplace matters
Counsel clients on federal and state compliance, workplace policies, and legal risks
Represent clients in administrative hearings, arbitrations, and court proceedings
Deliver training and guidance on labor and employment practices
Draft employment agreements, conduct investigations, and negotiate labor contracts
Licensed to practice law in New York
3+ years of experience in labor and employment law
Strong legal research and writing skills
