How you’ll make an impact in this role
Perform scrub functions, including the handling of instruments and supplies during complex cardiovascular surgical procedures.
Manage overall nursing care by monitoring, recording, and communicating patient conditions throughout cardiovascular procedures.
Assist physicians and anesthesia staff with intubation and the accessing and maintenance of lines.
Prepare cardiovascular operating rooms, surgical instruments, and necessary equipment for use.
What minimum requirements you’ll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
One or more of the following required:
Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:
~ Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

What additional preferences we're seeking
Nurses with two years of OR experience who want to elevate their career by joining our CVOR team.
Enjoys working collaboratively with an expert surgical team in a high-acuity environment, focusing on advanced cardiac and vascular procedures.
Motivated nurses who are committed to precision, teamwork, and delivering extraordinary care.
CVOR experience preferred
