Successful completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency program
Availability Needed
~ Start Date: September 7, 2026

Schedule
~ Monday-Friday

~8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

• Potential extended clinic hours until 7:00 PM on Mondays and Tuesdays
• Coverage may rotate among three clinic locations within Richmond based on operational needs

Patient Volume
Physicians: Approximately 25 patients per day
APPs: Approximately 20 patients per day
Documentation Expectations
~ All patient encounters must be completed and closed by 8:30 AM the following morning

Clinical Responsibilities
Comprehensive physical examinations
Preventive health screenings and wellness visits
Diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic conditions
Medication management and prescribing
Ordering and interpreting diagnostic testing and laboratory studies
Care coordination and specialist referrals
Family and community health education
Participation in quality improvement initiatives
Additional Clinical Experience Preferred
Preventive medicine
Behavioral health integration
Community health and population health management
Women's health and basic gynecologic care
Minor procedures within scope of training
Ideal Candidate
Family Medicine Physician with strong outpatient experience
Active Virginia license and DEA registration
Comfortable seeing 25 patients per day
Efficient and timely with documentation
Flexible to work across multiple clinic locations
