Full Time Head of Housekeeping

The Housekeeping Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role located in North Street, MI. This position oversees daily housekeeping operations to ensure resident rooms, common areas, and laundry services are clean, safe, and well-maintained. The Housekeeping Supervisor schedules and assigns tasks, trains and supports housekeeping team members, and inspects work to maintain quality standards. The role includes coordinating laundry services, managing supplies and equipment, and responding promptly to resident and family requests. The supervisor collaborates with community leadership, promotes a customer-focused environment, and helps ensure compliance with health, safety, and cleanliness guidelines.

Candidates should possess strong supervisory skills, including team leadership, scheduling, and training.

Candidates should possess housekeeping experience, with knowledge of cleaning procedures, safety practices, and infection control.

Candidates should possess laundry skills, including proper handling of linens, resident clothing, and use of laundry equipment.

Candidates should possess customer service and communication skills to interact respectfully and professionally with residents, families, and colleagues.

Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift, following safety guidelines.

Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; relevant supervisory or housekeeping experience may substitute.
