PART-TIME, REMOTE, RECRUITING HR GENERALIST

Location: Southern Orange County (Primarily Remote with Onsite Client Visits)

Location and Style : This role involves a hybrid work arrangement primarily based on remote work, with occasional onsite visits to clients' locations when required. The nature of the role may require travel to clients' sites for specific engagements.
Job Type : Please note that this is part-time, W-2 position with work ranging from project-based to client management and may include some internal EHR projects as well.

• Conduct HR Audits (Needs Analysis) with written executive report and recommendations from both a compliance and employee engagement standpoint.
• Create policies and procedures for clients, such as Employee Handbooks, New Hire and Termination Packets, Performance Review Programs and other areas of HR.
• Ability to lead and complete projects that include job description development, FLSA audit, job leveling and full compensation analysis and planning for clients.
• Provide onsite and remote consulting, coaching, and training to client managers, including topics like Sexual Harassment Prevention, Hiring, Termination, Performance Management and Employee Relations.
• Provide interim HR support to clients with HR position vacancies or lack of internal HR.
• Conduct employee relations investigations in coordination with our employment law council and provide the client with a report and recommendations.
• Manage recruitment for key positions, including job posting, screening, interviewing, reference checks, and onboarding documents or training.
• Assist with termination and disciplinary meetings, including document creation and coaching leaders and employees through the process.
• Collaborate with the Essential HR team and legal partners on HR-related issues that may require additional support.
• Maintain thorough understanding of human resources principles, employment laws, and industry trends by staying abreast of HR/Legal changes.
• Must have excellent knowledge of California State Labor and Federal Law and all major areas of Human Resources (TA, ER, Comp, Training, Development, Culture, etc).
• Fluent in Spanish and English is strongly preferred.
• Excellent in building trusted relationships with a focus on the best interest of the client.
• Advanced skills in computer applications, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Google Workspace.
• Demonstrated ability to write, develop, and deliver successful presentations and facilitate training to individuals and groups at all levels of an organization.
• Training, Organizational, and Cultural Development experience.
• Must have Employee Relations experience.
• Must be able to self-manage and prioritize workload from an urgent/important standpoint with minimal supervision.
• Ability to drive to client sites with a valid driver's license and insurance.

HR consulting and/or HR project experience.

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Human Resources, Industrial Organizational Psychology, or Business Admin.
• Masters’ degree in a related field.

Ability to work well with clients, executive-level management, employees, and vendors at all levels in both English and Spanish.
