Physician - Radiology - Overnight Teleradiology

DescriptionWe are seeking a full-time Diagnostic Radiologist specialized in Body Imaging to join our very collegial team of 15 system-employed Radiologists, working primarily in downtown Minneapolis at our L1 trauma hospital, Hennepin County Medical Center.Evenings and weekends are covered by residents in-house, with staff reads done from home. Overnight coverage is provided by residents in-house and teleradiology services.Opportunities to engage in research, education, and teaching are available, with student and residents rotating from the University of Minnesota (UMN). As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we are a qualifying employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program.QualificationsMinimum QualificationsEducation/Training: Completion of an ACGME, AOA, or Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada accredited training in Residency training program in Radiology-Diagnostic as required in the Medical Staff Bylaws.Certification: Current certification in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology or in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology or equivalent certification by Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada prior to the second reappointment cycle as required in the Medical Staff Bylaws. Applicant must be able to provide documentation of provision of diagnostic radiology services representative of the scope and complexity of the privileges requested during the previous two years.
