Cardiovascular Technologist
Seven Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Cardiovascular Technologist for a travel assignment in Norwalk, CT. This vital role involves working within a cath lab setting, supporting hospital and medical staff by performing invasive cardiovascular procedures. Key Responsibilities of the Cardiovascular Technologist:
Assist in scrubbing and utilizing sterile technique for invasive cardiovascular procedures including angioplasty
Prepare surgical trays and tables for procedures
Monitor patient's hemodynamic status and ECG
Collect and enter patient information into the physiologic monitoring system
Conduct pre-procedure interviews to obtain medical history and educate patients
Prepare cath lab and equipment prior to invasive testing
Position patients and connect monitoring devices
Assist cardiologists with arterial closure devices and obtain hemostasis
Requirements of the Cardiovascular Technologist:
State of CT Radiographer license
ARRT (R) and/or RCIS certification through CCI
Minimum 1 year of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab or EP Lab
