Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a fast-paced Medical-Surgical and Telemetry (MS/Tele) unit. This vital role offers the chance to deliver exceptional patient care, focusing on cardiac monitoring, medication administration, and patient education within a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a patient caseload of 4–6 telemetry patients, utilizing cardiac monitoring to detect and respond to rhythm changes promptly and effectively.

Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments with precision, closely observing for adverse reactions.

Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately within electronic health records to ensure continuity of care.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams—including case management, social work, and therapy—to facilitate safe, efficient discharge planning.

Educate patients and their families regarding diagnoses, medications, dietary restrictions, and follow-up care to promote understanding and reduce readmission risks.

Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.

At least 2 years of experience in medical-surgical or telemetry nursing.

Valid Compact RN license.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.

Certification in Medical-Surgical Nursing (CMSRN) is a plus.

Shift & Schedule:
~ Night shift: Three 12-hour shifts per week, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
