Just Opened! At Paris Baguette, we believe joy is baked fresh every day. As a Baker, you are the engine of our café - turning dough into golden croissants, fluffy donuts, breads, and more. We are on a mission to bring expertly crafted baked goods to every neighborhood and are looking for masters of their craft to join our new team in Thousand Oaks
THE ROLE
Prepare and bake all bread, pastries, donuts, and desserts to spec and on schedule.
Operate ovens, dough conditioners, and fryers safely and efficiently.
Handle prep tasks: scaling, shaping, topping, and finishing product.
Monitor bake times, temperatures, and product appearance for consistency.
Maintain a clean, food-safe, and well-organized back-of-house station.
Rotate and stock ingredients, checking for quality and freshness.
Complete production logs, waste tracking, and usage sheets.
Flag equipment or supply issues to the General Manager.
Support the team with flexibility and urgency to meet daily goals.
Help train new bakers in recipes and methods as needed.
WHAT YOU BRING
At least 1 year of baking experience. Experience in high-volume bakery production is preferred.
Familiarity with baking techniques, recipe execution, and production timing.
Knowledge of food safety, food labeling, and sanitization practices. Food Handler's Certification is required.
Ability to stand for long shifts and lift up to 30 lbs.
Excellent teamwork, organization, and communication skills.
