Job Responsibilities:

Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and design personalized therapy strategies aimed at achieving their functional objectives

Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based practices to advance patients' motor functions, cognitive abilities, and daily activities

Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work hand-in-hand with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide inclusive and holistic care

Educate Patients and Family Members: Guide patients and their caregivers through therapy practices to ensure continued improvement at home

Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and fine-tune treatment plans as necessary, ensuring patients remain on their desired path

Education Requirements:

Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational institution

Encouragement and support for continuing education or post-graduate certifications

Certification Requirements:

Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required

NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification necessary
