Description

Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in inpatient or outpatient settings and create customized treatment plans
Administer targeted physical therapy interventions that enhance mobility, strength, balance, and overall functionality
Work closely with a team of nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation specialists to maximize patient outcomes
Guide patients and their families through therapeutic goals, discharge strategies, and home exercise programs
Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in line with facility standards
Involve yourself in multidisciplinary care rounds and conferences to coordinate comprehensive care
Education
~ Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from an accredited education program

Certifications
Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist
CPR certification preferred
Specialized certifications (such as neurological or geriatric) are beneficial but not mandatory
Skills
Prior experience in a related field is highly recommended
