As a Security Officer Armed Security Patrol in Syracuse, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer in a busy retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support shoppers, tenants, and staff through strong communication and customer service while bringing a reliable, agile, and innovative approach. Position Type: Part Time
Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout sales floors, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
Support opening and closing activities, observe restricted areas, and help to confirm that only authorized individuals access designated spaces and/or sensitive areas.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
